Jason, leads the WoodWorks eastern field division and national construction management program. He has greatly enjoyed his experiences in the wood products, construction, structural system construction, precast, and homebuilding sectors.

Matt has significant experience with all structural materials but has turned his focus in recent years to mass timber. As of early 2024, Matt has been involved in 25 mass timber projects. He truly believes that it is the material of the future.

As a Program Manager at Southface, Sam lends his expertise in high-performance building to advance the performance of the built environment, through passive design principles, applied building science, and pragmatic and creative solutions.

Troy has served a key role in connecting the commercial real estate industry to the mass timber industry by building the first “Georgia Grown” mass timber building called 619 Ponce.

Nick is a Mass Timber Specialist for Smartlam with over 10 years of experience in building design and construction. As a licensed professional engineer, he combines a strong technical background with a passion for sustainable building practices.

Scott Brown is the National Mass Timber Specialist at DPR Construction. With over 24 years of leadership experience, Scott has developed deep expertise in construction, manufacturing, and assembly processes in both prefabrication and mass timber.

William is a seasoned construction veteran who manages all aspects of design and preconstruction management for Swinerton Builders in Portland, Oregon. His well-rounded background includes working in self-perform mass timber to business management.

Brooke works as a Senior Project Engineer at Timberlab. She is an advocate for sustainable building solutions and mass timber construction, especially where other building materials typically dominate the market.

Sonya Halpern is a passionate leader blending business with a heart for community. She is committed to finding real solutions, better economic opportunities, and setting a powerful example for the rest of the country.

Dave Williams joined the Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) in 2011 and is the Chief Policy Officer. He works closely with business leaders and state legislators, advancing policies to improve Atlanta’s quality of life and business climate.

Michael is a leader in innovation, strategic leadership, systems planning, and policy implementation for regional development and livability. His impactful projects and programs enhance the quality of life and environmental sustainability in Atlanta.

Board Member and 2024 Chair for the Council for Quality Growth, Sally Riker, is a seasoned leader in the architectural and engineering industry with over 25 years of experience and has been recognized as Georgia's most influential woman.
